The Marathon is one of the most beautiful trail running routes in the Alps. Starting at St. Niklaus, the run leads past meadows and small mountain lakes. A fantastic Alpine panorama awaits athletes and spectators. And if you still have excess energy to burn when you cross the finish line in Zermatt, you can even carry on over the Riffelberg to Gornergrat.
